Wander through the Tasmanian blue gums and enjoy the bird life and kangaroos.  Why not take a picnic under the trees?

The morning mist gives the valley an “eerie” feeling.  When it lifts the blue sky and sun make the distant vista look beautiful.

During summer there is a succession of colourful flowering grasses.  Look out for blue tongued lizards & skinks as you walk the pathways.

The spring fed dam supplies the villa with domestic water.  You’ll hear the frogs here on a summer’s evening.

Many attractive birds including finches, wrens and honey eaters are attracted to the garden.  Watch out also for falcons, kestrels, kites and eagles.

There are many types of fungus and native plants in the woodland area.  As there is no livestock here (apart from the wild type) there is little disturbance.
